The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Machine Learning Engineer opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s, masters or PhD in STEM related fields (mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, engineering, economics, etc.) .
  • Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques.
  • The ability to tailor machine learning solutions to various business problems.
  • A high degree of inquisitiveness and critical thinking.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Experience building production-quality data pipelines and corresponding machine learning applications.
  • Familiarity with Spark.
  • A passion for all things data science.
  • A desire to help build a world-class data science and machine learning organization.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
While the role may require travel, we don't expect that you will travel more than about once a year.

The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Acoustic you will have the opportunity to leverage rich e-marketing and merchandising data sources to develop world-class AI-driven marketing solutions. You will collaborate with a strong team of engineers, product managers and data scientists to prototype, develop and deliver data products and features that are key to the growth and success of Acoustic.

More specifically, you will:
  • Deliver real impact to Acoustic’s product portfolio through development of rigorous data-driven solutions.
  • Research and build production-quality machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with product teams, engineers and data scientists to define and plan the development of future data-driven product features.
